Before being a parent, I thought about how fun it would be to ask my children questions --questions that allow me a glimpse into how their minds work and laugh at the responses. And more than not, I am blown away by both the simple and profound depth of Hadley Tate's little noggin..
Today she was singing in her loud voice, "If you're saved and you know it, say Amen..."
So I asked, "Do you know what "saved" means?
She said, "Yeah, saved from the water or the lake or the ocean."
I said, "Yes, you can be saved from those things and that is a good thing. But it also means that you love Jesus and ask Him into your heart."
She replied without skipping a beat, "I love you Jesus. Praise the Lord."
