Pumpkin Patch

We visited Mor Mor and Papa Ocean last weekend and had a great visit. It is always such a treat to stay with them and be spoiled just a bit! Hadley had a great time too and hopes that her cousins will be there next time to race up and down the stairs with her...

We made it to the pumpkin patch. We typically do not drive 3.5 hours to get a pumpkin, but we did this year (in a way) and it was well worth it.

She can hardly stand it...Bobby looks like he is going to bust too!

Not too long after we got there, Hadley was freezing. She is normally not one to let that slow her down, but she was quite content riding in the cart as the pumpkin queen.
Eyes closed as she picks her pumpkin. I wonder if there really is a feel test to pumpkins as if it were a melon...

The queen and her chariot...
She whispered that it was time for me to decide on a pumpkin so we could get inside and warm up!
Mor Mor helps pick the perfect one for Hadley.
The scarf is not one her normal accessories, but she seemed to like it so...we will see. You can't tell in the picture, but she had already put on her makeup that morning!

Speaking of Pumpkins...don't be surprised if my belly starts to look like a little (or not-so little) pumpkin soon. I am 12-weeks pregnant and we could not be more excited.

Can you imagine life with another when this is our life now???
But then she does this and reminds me that she was born to be a helper.

hope you guys are good--we're trying to get our trip figured out, but I think we're planning on being there this Christmas!

  2. Love the pumpkin queen! She is just too precious. Loves to accessorize like her mama. Btw, whenever you do get a belly (which I'm sure will be at like 30 wks), please post a picture! :)
