Halloween Treats

We are having so much fun with Hadley. She is now 16 months old and this "stage" is busy, but so exciting. Every new little thing fascinates her and at the same time, grabs my attention and fascination as well. It is a little out of character for me to be looking forward to Thanksgiving and Christmas already, but it is hard not to with such a cute buddle of energy around here...hence the Christmas movie that is on in the background.

Hadley was a duck by default. I say that in the best way possible. We were planning on her being Pebbles from the Flinstones with our neighbor George as Bam Bam. I am not sure what happened, but at the last minute I decided that I was not too keen on the off the shoulder get-up of Pebbles and would enjoy every chance we had to dress her up as something more sweet. (Sorry Elisia for messing you up on this one).

Hadley is trying out her new duck feet early in the morning.

Max (George), Army Police (Chapman) and a little duck...

She kept looking for the candy before we made it to the first house.

I may just have to dress her up in this a couple more times so I can get some good squeezes...

Pap Pap took matters in his own hands after a couple houses of not enough candy. He showed Hadley how to waddle to the front door and proceed to grab a hand full of candy with both hands. By the end of the night she had it down and would say "thank you. bye-bye" and off to the next house.

The duck needed a little help with the stairs...

Down to one duck foot...

She was indeed high-stepping it here with excitment...it was a fun night for us all!
