NO. 100 WHEELS

Some may know, some may not know that I have recently started working on weddings -- which means  two things. I get the privilege of watching two young people on one of the happiest days of their life -- we serve them with the gifts that the Lord has given us. It is a lot of work, but very rewarding for me personally -- more on this for another post.

But because I am busy on Saturdays, Bobby holds down the fort and spends lots of quality time with the kids. And despite being exhausted at the end of it, there are memories made during those "fun day" Saturdays that will be treasured for times to come.

One being that they went to get Hadley's big girl bike -- Strawberry shortcake at a second-hand store -- and she rides that thing like she is in the Tour de France. If not riding it, she sits next to it and admires it. Not only does she not mind having an old bike that once belonged to someone else, she actually treasures it. That's my girl, Hads --- the older the better and with more stories on it then the new one from Walmart. We will remind you of this dear lesson as you grow older and desire for things new and shiny!

And if Hadley is going to ride her bike, you better believe this one is going to be right there in his gear cheering her on. For the record, that helmet is mine and fits him just right. Little bear has a noggin the size of a pumpkin and a face that I could kiss all day long.
