From day one, these two can't get enough of each other. Hadley has taken Burns in {as if she had a choice} like he was always a part of the family and I guess in actuality, he always was part of the plan...
She has taught me a couple lessons in the process...
There is ALWAYS room in your heart to love another, which is far more rewarding than the time and energy focused on loving yourself.
Sometimes you have to meet people when they are. Get down on their level, walk beside them, put your arm around them and love them as they are--sharing the love of Christ.
And look what might happen in return {you get a passy}or the opportunity for someone else to share with you what is special to them...their stories, their differences and their ways...
And hold on tight because the best of relationships last a long time and which means you will endure the ups and downs together...
Big hugs are needed at times even if you are not in the mood...
And some time playing like a kid on the floor in a tent can bring about laughter that you didn't know was possible, but feels real good...
And for another laugh, scroll back to the top and ignore everything but Hadley's outfits---what in the world is all I can say to that.
Hmm, I wonder where she gets THAT from???
ReplyDeleteSuch love! I hope that I have one just like either of them. I also hope that I am as wonderful a mother as you are!
