Goodie, goodie gumdrop...

What a fun-filled Halloween weekend. The weather felt like Fall for the first time this year and we took advantage of being outdoors and on the go. I did not realize how popular Halloween is around town-there were "par-tays" everywhere you look. And this party animal feels like this now {she is at the foot of her bed and couldn't muster the energy to climb up to her pillow}
Friday night was "Trunk or Treat" at church. "Monkey see, Pumpkin do" is the standard for these two little girls {Hadley with her best bud Layna}
Burns is such a bundle of sweet cuteness---I mean, look at that squeezeable peanut. I am not sure why the Terry doll is patting his head, but I found about 28 of these same shots on my camera this morning and have a feeling that Bobby set up this photo shoot!

Allyssa and Hadley {and Parker in the background} were eyeing up the costumes...

The pumpkin tried to be sneaky, but little does she know she is a large orange ball and not as descrete as she would like to believe.

The pumpkin turned into Tinker Bell on Saturday for the neighborhood party. They had everything you could imagine to play with...trampolines...
Pumpkin carving contests...
Horse rides...and jumpcastles {too scary for the fairy}. What a great neighborhood we have found ourselves in!!
My babies...

She was trying to run really fast and fly. She wondered what she was doing wrong, but little did we know what was around the corner...
and fly she did...
Sunday {Halloween} brought this little fella into the picture...please pause and take a look at the sweet cowboy's {Bowan} face! And Hadley cuddled up to him like it was the norm.
Fast forward 15 years and it might look like a prom shot!
No time to pose for this picture...I didn't trust that pumpkin with the farmer for too long...and the cow was a little concerned as well!
It was getting dark and this pumpkin was flat exhausted-she asked to go to bed right when we got home, which was fine with us because Bobby went out to chase down the kids that stole our bowl of candy from the front porch. You {Klye Hughey} know who you are and we know where you live!!
Hope your weekend was festive!!
