Museum fun...

There are so many fun things to do in this town with little ones. Hadley and I headed downtown last week to visit the Children's Museum and spent hours...as you can tell, she was so excited on the way there!
I don't know why I found it so fascinating to watch her "grocery shop" but I was so curious as to why she choose the things she did and why she passed on others. She pushed that little cart around the "store" with such confidence and thoughtfully paused on each aisle as she determined what would make it into her cart... ...which included: chocolate ice cream, granola bars, bananas, apples & a loaf of french bread. I would ask if she cared for cereal or turkey or cheese and she just said "no" and continued on.

Hadley has been going through such a sweet phase lately. Not that I don't think she is typically sweet, but she especially wants to share everything that she has...her food, her toys, her hats, her animals...and in the same way she expects me to share all of my things...my drinks, my makeup, my purses, my shoes...I guess we have a lot to look forward to Hadley considering I liked all that you "bought" at the grocery store that day and was thrilled to share it all.

This is not how the exhibit was intended to be enjoyed, but it seems to work well this way too...
Oh, and the craft room...I could have stayed forever and did not take one picture because I was busy making paper penguins, Christmas ornaments, painting pictures....and on and on. I might have to go solo one day and play because this room did not hold the attention of this busy bee for too long.
