Mixed emotions

Is it possible to go from this to the next picture in a matter of minutes? I have realized that Hadley is like any other person. She has a mixture of emotions that can range from abundant joy to complete meltdown. I guess as you mature you learn to control these emotions, but I have to admit that I sometimes wish I could be as free to lay down in the middle of a busy park and scream too. We all have those moments from time to time...
I know the picture is blurry, but she was singing and laughing and it captures a memory that I have of her...
Bobby told me this morning that he had such a great weekend hanging out with Hadley. I had to ask, "so what does hanging out with a 15-month old consist of?" For him, it didn't matter what they were doing as long as they were doing it together. A perfect day in the Fall would probably include sitting with your buddy in "your" chair watching football and eating a little snack with no pants on. On a side note, can I say that in photographing your family at home comes at a great cost...it forces you to see how messy your place is. Why is the golf club sitting in between the chairs? The pillows are never in the chair, the lamp shade is crooked and their is a pile above Bobby's head that has been there for weeks. Oh well...I remind myself that this too is a stage in our life and it's worth a mess any day of the week...
