Isn't the nursery rhyme about the lady who lived in a shoe also about the number of people she packed into one little house --- well, we could relate a couple weeks ago. Five adults + one very helpful girl + four little people + a little old ranch = lots of memories.
We really enjoyed our visit with Bobby's side of the family and were grateful they were willing to make the trip down to see us from Chicago. We did as much as we could and always wish it was for longer --- one solution to that {we will be praying that a church opening is available next year in the South}.
Each of the cousins {all of us for that matter} have their own personalities. We talked and laughed about it and realize that many things can influence their unique personality --- gender, birth order, God's sense of humor.
HG, you are one character. Full of color, life and voice... no one can rock a flower headpiece while in pjs quite like you. Hadley mentioned literally right as you left, she and Lola are princesses, but not me. That title belongs rightfully to you alone, little lady.
Did you take note of that picture above --- amazing the "reality" you can crop out of a picture. It may appear Hadley and Hannah Grace are just posing for a picture, but in reality Burns is walking around with a laundry basket on his head and Lily is monitoring the scene.
And Oskar, you are so handsome --- the hair, the skin tone, the eyes. The two boys knew they were outnumbered because they stuck together like glue. Here I actually think they were trying to escape.
We went to the beach, we tried to catch critters, we learned about sea life, we acted like sharks, we caught sharks, we painted fish --- and we were hungry and tired afterwards.
The sign read "shoes and shirt required" --- check, we are missing both. They knew he would eat his share and therefore not worth turning away.
Some shopped, some slept --- whatever works for you.
